Smart PSS CCTV Software For your Computer
Sine 2024 you should be using the new Smart-PSS Lite instead of the old Smart PSS.
Just delete the old one and download the new one from this Smart-PSS Lite page.
Obviously use the PC or the Mac one depending on what flavour your computer is!

As you can see the system is reasonably easy to use once you know how.
Here's a couple of pro tips to help you even more:
- Export seconds. Maybe minutes. Never hours! Most incidents are only a few seconds long. The trick is finding the right ones.
- Use the Original Format option for the export format choice. This will download and install a Smart Player as shown below which will give you by far the most control when you're going through your video in detail. BUT ... make sure you pay attention to where you download the file. That's because if you want to give the footage to the cops you have to go to that folder on your computer and grab both the video file ( which will end in .dav ) and also the Smart Player file. Put them both on a usb stick or upload them to Google Drive, or iCloud or Dropbox or similar.
